| XPS, short for XA-ISO Patch System, is an intelligent ISO9660-XA patcher which can patch PSX ISO Images. With this patcher it is possible to make a backup of all current Anti-ModChip protected games!

| The XPS executable is a MS-DOS utility so just open a DOS-Box (MS-DOS Prompt) and enter the following at the command line prompt:
USAGE: XPS <PatchName.XPS> [<Filesname.ISO>]

This is an example how to create a XPS file. Some assembler knowledge is needed to use it. |

If the XPS Patchname doesn't have the .XPS suffix then a period must be included at the end of the PatchName (e.g. XPS PatchName. Filename.ISO).
Longnames, including spaces, are supported. Just enclose the filename in quotes (e.g. "File Name.iso"). |

| This CD-Writer list is only needed for MODPASS.XPS Patch #1 as it doesn't correct EDC/ECC automatically. Therefore the CD-Writer should correct the EDC/ECC.
MODPASS.XPS Patch #2 corrects the EDC/ECC and therefore all CD-Writers are capable of writing the CD-Image.

It seems better using 2336 bytes/sector instead of 2352 bytes/sector.
Adjust sector size using DiscJuggler:
- 2352 when 'Raw Mode' is checked
- 2336 when 'Raw Mode' is unchecked
Adjust sector size using CDRWIN:
- 2352 when 'Reading Options/Raw' is checked
- 2336 when 'Reading Options/Raw' is unchecked
Adjust sector size using CDWizard:
- Select Details -> Advanced -> Mode 2 and change sector in the BOX.
(Default:2336)

XPS2ASM is a tool which is able to convert a XPS patch file into assembler source code.
USAGE: XPS2ASM <PatchName.XPS> <Filesname.ASM>
EXAMPLE: XPS2ASM PatchName.XPS Game.ASM
The generated source code has been verified to work with TASM version 2.0 and it uses the master.lib Ver0.22k.
